To start off, the most important thing to keep on mind is that making the food fun to kids. For example, for some kids it might be the idea of getting them involved in cooking or prepare their food and that can give them a sense of having fun/accomplishment association with food.
American Heart Association suggests a healthy tip for snacking, is to keep fresh fruit and vegetables cut or pre-chopped on hands so it is easy and available for kids to grab and go.
